Joel was an amazing person - as we got to know him at the humane society he touched all of our hearts. No mater how rough of a day, Joel knew how to bring a smile to all of us. He loved the animals he worked with every day, and cared deeply about the work he did with the animals. Joel will be greatly missed, but his smile and loving nature will forever live on. Our deepest condolences to family and friends, and gratitude for being lucky enough to get to know you Joel! Rest in peace.

I cannot express how awful I feel that Joel has left us. He was a very kind and considerate person who was confused. We had many happy times at the trailer, visiting Chris and just hanging out at my house with Ryan. Your passing will leave a big void in our lives but we will become better people for having had the honor of knowing you. You have sent us a very strong message and lets hope we can listen to you. Cindy, I cannot even imagine how you are feeling at this time. Know we are here if you need us. We will be with you in spirit and know Joel is now with his Grandma Diane watching over us all with our other departed family members. Hugs to you and Kamarian. XOX We love you both.

Well my first instinct is to be mad, but its not my place...like Frankie said "Everything happens for a reason". And also like Fran said I just always remember you with a smile. Through it all you were a or wanted to be happy, clean, a good daddy. Well I guess God knew something I didnt and I am definetly not God or I wouldnt be writing my co dolences right now. I am soo sorry to that beautiful baby girl of yours, Joel. As well as the rest of the family. You will be sadly missed and I pray for the family and for the mother of your daughter as well as that pretty little girl that are all so sadly left behind... all my condolences...

I'll never forget the memories I have with you. You were taken way too soon, but everything happens for a reason. I hope you are in a happier place and watching over all of us. I love you and my condolences go out to Cindy and the rest of the family. You were a great guy and I'm gonna miss you! xoxo
