Louise Mott, 98, of Bristol, passed away on February 7, 2012, at her home with family and friends by her bedside. She was born November 7, 1913, in Hope, MN, to the late Lemuel and Emma (Davis) Bailey and educated in Hope and Owatonna, MN, schools. On January 9, 1933, she married Russell Mott in St. Paul, MN. They lived in Eau Claire, WI, moving to Chicago where she worked at AB Dick Co for several years before joining her husband in his office supply business. They moved to Bristol in 1953 where they farmed and continued the business in Chicago. Louise retired in 1989 from the Chicago business. She was a member of St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church, and enjoyed baking, needlepoint, and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Survivors include her daughter, Pat Mott of Bristol, grandson Jeff (Teri) Smith of N. Richland Hills, TX, granddaughter Tammy (Mike) Koroly of Bristol; and great-grandchildren Becca, Zachary, and Matthew Smith, and AJ Koroly. She is also survived by two nieces, Bev (Curt) Johnson and Joanne Gammon and three nephews, Tom (Helen) Mott, Rick (Anne) Mott, and Dan (Tammy) Mott. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband on March 1, 1998, and her sisters Grace and Myrtle Bailey. A memorial service will be held at Kemper Center on Saturday, March 10th, at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Hospice Alliance, 10220 Prairie Ridge Blvd., Pleasant Prairie, WI 53158, or St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church, 5900 7th Ave., Kenosha, WI 53140. The family would like to especially thank Sharon and Stephanie from Hospice Alliance, for their loving care and concern for Louise during the past several months. Also a special thank you to her caregiver, Gerri, for her love and devotion given to Louise during her time of need.
