Marguritte Joyce Menden, 80, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 1, 2011, at her residence. Born in Bismarck, ND, on February 8, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Herman and Marguritte (Hull) Heckel. She spent most of her life in Kenosha. In 1957 she married Jack William Gross. He preceded her in death in 1979. Marguritte had been a rural mail carried for the United States Post Office until her retirement. Surviving are her seven children, Jill (David) Benka of Wautoma, WI, Bobbi (James) Gross of Montana, William John Gross of Kenosha, Jan (Felix) Guerra of Kenosha, Christina Lynn Gross of Kenosha, Terry (Marti) Gross of Camp Lake, WI, and Martin Gross of Illinois; a brother, Tom Heckel of Everett, WA; a sister, Christina Fay of Seattle, WA; and also many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons, Jay and Kent Dosemagen; and a step son, Jack Warren Gross.
