Walter S. "Moe" Lidbloom, Sr., 65, of Salem, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 25, 2011, at Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center in Milwaukee. Born on May 25, 1946, in Chicago, IL, he was the son of Albert and Patricia Lidbloom. He moved to Kenosha in 2001. He was employed as an auto mechanic at B.F.I and United Concrete until his retirement. Moe enjoyed fishing, camping, and spending his retired years in Antioch, IL, with many loved ones and friends. He is survived by his lifetime partner, Jane Lidbloom of Kenosha; his three children, Keith (Heidi) Lidbloom of Salem, Vernon Lidbloom of Antioch, and Walter Lidbloom, Jr. of Pleasant Prairie; two step-children, Kevin (Kay) Stich of Kenosha and Kelly (Dan) Ketter of Fon Du Lac; one brother, Albert (Becky) Lidbloom of Phoenix, AZ; one grandchild, Steven Keith Lidbloom; four step-grandchildren, Jennifer Ketter, Anna Stich, Jonathan Stich, and Michael Stich; and one step-great-grandchild, Connor Ketter. Moe was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Vernon. Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 30th, at Proko Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Sunset Ridge Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Friday at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
