Nancy Jean Duncan, 70, of Kenosha passed away on Wednesday, August 10, 2011, at Brookside Care Center. Born in Kenosha on October 13, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Victor and Harriet (Jakubowicz) Sarzant. She married James Duncan in Alabama; he preceded her in death in 1980. For over 37 years Nancy was employed as an Administrative Assistant for Coopers/Jockey International until her retirement in 1997. Nancy attended Kenosha Bible Church until she was unable; she then participated and listened to services on the radio. She enjoyed volunteering for RSVP, working puzzles, visiting with friends at Lakeside Towers. Surviving are a son, Jeffrey (Jenny) Duncan of Kenosha; two grandchildren, Mercedes and Jeffrey Duncan, Jr.; two step children, James and Ellen; a step grandson, James; her aunt, Jennie Metten; special friends, Krista (Craig) Kennedy of Kenosha; and her niece and nephew “dogs”, "Lil" Red, Velveteen, Maybelle and Kloe. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Victor and John Sarzant. The family would like to extend special thanks to her caregiver and friend, Diane Laughlin of Right at Home Services.
