Thyra Sattler, 91, of Kenosha, passed away on Tuesday, March 22, 2011, at Hospitality Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born on September 29, 1919, in Kenosha, WI, the daughter of the late David and Margaret Livingston. On June 16, 1956, she married Leo F. Sattler; he preceded her in death. She was employed by Jockey International for 26 years. Surviving Thyra is a step son, Ken Sattler; step daughter, Patricia (Gary) Sloan of Colby KS; a granddaughter, Jennifer Sellry; one niece; and four nephews. She was preceded in death by her two sisters, Irma Fishbach and Ruth Gerber; and a brother, David Livingston. A memorial service will be held at the Proko Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 30th, at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be held privately at Sunset Ridge Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Wednesday at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
