Michael H. Salo, 58, of Kenosha, passed away on Thursday, December 9, 2010, at United Hospital System-Kenosha Campus. Born in Kenosha on March 25, 1952, he was the son of the late Edward B. and Viola L. (Savaglio) Salo. A lifelong resident of Kenosha, Michael attended local schools. He was a former member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church and attended St. Mary’s Catholic Church. For over 30 years he worked at the Kenosha Achievement Center. Surviving are a brother, Edward (Suzette "Sue") Salo; two nieces, Amanda (Michael) Galster and Samantha (Derek) Petersen; two great-nephews; one great-niece; and many other relatives and friends. Michael’s family would like to thank his extended family at Harbor Village West for the many years of care. Family and friends are asked to meet at St. Mary’s Catholic Church on Tuesday, December 14th, at 1:00 p.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial. Entombment will follow at All Saints Mausoleum.
