Ramona Mary (Hall) White passed away Wednesday, February 11, 2026, just short of her 97th birthday.
She was born February 17, 1929, in Dixon, NE to the late Arthur M. Hall and Marie (Lippert) Hall. Ramona graduated from Kenosha High School in 1946, and married James C. White, Sr. at St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church, Kenosha, WI on February 11, 1950.
Our parents owned and operated the Greenhouse on 39th Avenue and 85th Street. Mom worked at Barden’s Department Store as a buyer and in sales. She also was in food services with the Kenosha Unified School District before her retirement.
Survived by her children Susan Duczak of Kenosha, WI, James Jr. (Lynn) of Desoto, TX, Kelly (Cathy) of St Louis, MO, Kathy (Steve) Cohen of Marana, AZ, Mary Filippello of Kenosha, WI, Tom (Lori) of Lake Geneva, WI, and Patti (Mike) Peterson of Albertville, MN; 17 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is also survived by her brother Chuck (Carol) Hall of Avondale, PA and sisters-in-law, Connie Hall of Palos Heights, IL and Mariann Hall of Wonder Lake, IL.
In addition to her parents, Ramona was preceded in death by her husband James, son-in-law, Mike Duczak, siblings and spouses, Jerald and Audree Hall, Richard and Angie Hall, William and Marguerite Hall, Allan Hall, Thomas Hall, Mary Alice and Ken Thomsen and Norma and John Boswell.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 19, 2026, at St. Mary Catholic Church, 7307 40th Avenue, Kenosha, WI. Mass of Christian Burial will commence at 11:00 a.m. and interment will follow in St. George Cemetery, Kenosha, WI. Arrangements were entrusted to Proko Funeral Home, Kenosha, WI. In lieu of flowers, contributions to a charity of your choice are appreciated.
