Rose C. Trecroci, 94 years old of Kenosha, WI, passed away on Saturday, December 27, 2025.Born and raised in Racine, WI on May 31, 1931, she was the daughter of the late William and Mary (Mueller) Funk. Rose graduated from St. Catherines High School in 1950 and worked for Webster. She married Peter Trecroci on September 27, 1958, at Holy Name. After marriage, they moved to Kenosha the same year. He preceded her in death in June of 2018 after 59 years of marriage.Rose enjoyed sewing for children and later worked on quilts with churches and for veterans at Great Lakes. She was a member of Pleasant Prairie Women’s Club for over 25 years and met many friends with Peter when he worked out at the Kenosha Hospital cardiac gym. Rose is survived by her children, Diane (Tim) McGuire and Paul Trecroci and his former spouse, Natasha Gambrell; grandchildren, Katerina Geneva McGuire and Sergey Peter McGuire; and siblings, Ruth Field and Larry Funk.Along with her parents and her husband, she is preceded in death by her siblings, Joe (June), Bill (Mary), Bob (Joanne), Marie (Orland) Guard, Theresa (Jim) Celeste, Rita (Willie) Barth, Raymond (Leone) Funk; brother-in-law, Don Field; and sister-in-law, Donna Funk.A visitation will be held on Friday, January 2, 2026, at Proko Funeral Home from 8:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will immediately follow at St. Mary Catholic Church 7307 40th Avenue, Kenosha, WI at 11:00 a.m. Entombment will be held in All Saints Mausoleum on Monday, January 5, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. in the main chapel.
