LuAnne C. Grandow

1956 ∼ 2025

LuAnne Grandow, 69, of Kenosha, WI passed away after her fierce battle with cancer on Friday, December 26, 2025, at Ascension All Saints Hospital in Racine, WI. LuAnne lived her years with purpose, laughter, and love, leaving a mark in her family history, and the community that won’t fade. Born on March 21, 1956, in Sheboygan, WI she was the daughter of the late Chester DeRuyter and Virginia Selander Ramm. LuAnne’s story is one built on family, friendship, and dedication. Married twice, she raised five loving children who became her pride and joy, and her happiness and laughter could often be heard whenever she spoke about her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her love extended beyond her immediate family — into the lives of her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and the countless friends she gathered along the way. LuAnne loved her dog Arlo; who absolutely adored her too. She had a gift for making people feel cared about and included, and she did so with humor and openness that made everyone comfortable. LuAnne gave so much of herself to others. Her true hobby and greatest accomplishment is her family. To support this love, she first worked as a stay at home mom for 13 years, later entering the workforce as a nurse’s aide in Sheboygan, WI. As she moved forward in life to Kenosha, WI she spent years working for Luigi’s Pizza Kitchen, Kenosha Unified School District, and most recently, Kwik Trip. She worked hard, and work for her wasn’t just about earning—it was about being able to do her best for the people she cared for. She never hesitated to lend a hand, share what she had and a kind word, or offer one of her warm smiles. LuAnne is survived by – children: Chad (Heather) Paul, Brock (Amanda) Paul, Travis (Jenny) Paul, Kenneth Grandow Jr., and Megan Grandow; - 23 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren, nieces & nephews; and many friends. She is reunited in Heaven with grandsons Noah & Ethan, her parents Virginia Selander Ramm and Chester DeRuyter, as well as her sister Janet, and brother Allen.Visitation for LuAnne will be held on Thursday, January 8, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 12:00 Noon at Proko Funeral Home.
