Born in The Bronx, NY, on February 25, 1965, he was the son of Frank and Elizabeth (Cataldi) Rizzi. He earned his associates degree from Nassau Community College. He then went on to earn his bachelor’s degree from Florida Southern College in Lakeland, Fl. Michael was employed by CarMax for almost 30 years. He was currently the Retail Technician Manager at Schaumburg CarMax. Michael was a member of Toastmasters International, the NRA, and the WI Sportsman Association. He enjoyed both gun and bow hunting, fishing, camping, boating, assembling guns, attending auctions, riding on his ATV, operating his diesel tractor, and spending time with his family and friends. He was able to take a trip of a lifetime to Italy, with his parents and his wife, where he was able to see the place where his mother was born. He also cherished trips up north in Finley, WI. Mike was a person who was genuine and fun to be around. He was my coworker at CarMax and our partnership goes way back. The one of many memories I have of Mike, that stands the most, is when he volunteered to help me in my first year as a manager. Mike had to drive more than an hour away from his home for days to assist me and share his knowledge. He will be always in my heart and I will miss him dearly. My sincere condolences to his wife Wendy and Mike's family!

He was always cheerful, funny, and warm hearted. He enjoyed telling jokes and definitely about the coffee!! The many stories him and Pete shared each morning and evening, the nice chats I shared with him and Wendy while walking my dogs with mom. He was taken to soon from us, as there will never be such a cheerful person like him. My prayers and condolences to his family through this loss 🙏🏻🕊️
