Silvia H. Garcia, 66, of Kenosha, WI, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 27th, at Aurora Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. Born on November 15, 1959, in Racine, WI; she was the daughter of the late Guillermio L. and Maria Elena (Del-Toro) Hernandez. On August 27, 2005, she married Jose O. Garcia in Kenosha, WI. Silvia enjoyed taking car rides, shopping, and spending time with her family. She loved Christmas and looked forward to decorating for the season. She is survived by her loving husband, Jose O. Garcia of Kenosha, WI; her step-daughter, Josephine Ann (Tony) Garcia-Trevino; five granddaughters, Vivian, Veronica, Jillianna, Nyomie, and Bianca; seven siblings, Oscar (Dolores) Hernandez, Guillermo Hernandez Jr., Fernando Hernandez, Jesus (Amanda) Hernandez, Herlinda (Pedro) Gonzales, Juanita Hernandez, Margarita Garcia; and many special nieces and nephews. Silvia was also preceded in death by her sister, Diana Lee Hernandez. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at Proko Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. Interment will immediately follow in St. George Cemetery.
