Our family (Martino) has known the Pierangeli family for decades. We lived just two blocks west of the Pierangeli Grocery store, it was the only place we shopped for what food items we needed. I can still recall the inside with all its bins of bulk items..especially the honeyed castagnas ! I have such fond memories of all the siblings but especially Irma since she was a close friend to my oldest sister, Gina and was a frequent visitor to our home. Sincere condolences to the entire family; you said goodbye with a heavy heart, but she was greeted on the other side with joyous shouts by those who went before her and looked forward to her "coming home"! Rest in peace, Irma, knowing your life journey was well lived !
