Andrew Michael Wojtak

1981 ∼ 2025

Andrew Michael Wojtak “Andy”, 44, of Kenosha, WI passed away in his wife’s arms on Wednesday, October 1, 2025.Born on August 21, 1981, in Kenosha, WI, he was the perfect son to his loving parents George and Kathy (Tabbert) Wojtak, and the most entertaining brother to his big sister Melissa Otwaska. He was a lifelong resident of Kenosha and loved every bit of life. Andrew met the love of his life and soulmate, Angela; the two shared 20 years of life built on pure and genuine true love. He was the perfect example of what a husband and provider should be. Together they raised three perfectly imperfect children Gianna, Vanessa, and Santino. They were his life’s work and greatest accomplishment; he loved them fiercely and showed up for them every minute of every day. Whether it was baseball, cheer, gymnastics, musicals, swimming meet’s, tracks meet’s or just practicing at home he was there supporting them and cheering them on ALWAYS! He will forever be with them and they are his forever living legacy. He made sure birthdays and holidays were extra special and always cracking a joke to make sure everyone was laughing. Coaching was very big part of Andrew’s life and the impact he had on his players was immeasurable. He had a special gift for connecting with anyone and everyone and was always trying to help anyway he could.Andrew will be remembered as an exceptional and unforgettable man. He was kind and loving to all, caring reliable, patient, understanding and always walking around with a beautiful big smile that just made you smile right back. He was the easiest person to talk to and could literally talk about anything. He had a consistent calming demeanor that made you feel safe and heard, his presence made everything better and the lives he touched will be changed forever because of him. His memory and spirit will continue to grow in all of the lives he touched. He loved playing and watching ALL sports especially his Cubbies and Packers! Talking with his guys about fantasy football, sports and just shooting the shit were times he loved. Anytime he could get out and shoot some hoops or hit some softballs he was ready. He loved going to the casino with Angela to win big in bingo (even though that never happened) but his greatest past time was sitting at home with Angela and there three dogs Saddie, Allie, and Winnie relaxing by a fire or on the couch. Andrew is survived by; HIS one and only Angela Wojtak of Kenosha Wisconsin; his daughters Gianna and Vanessa Pignotti-Wojtak; his son Santino Pignotti-Wojtak; his three fur babies Saddie, Allie, and Winnie, as well as his fur grandchild Mojo; his father and mother George and Kathy Wojtak; his sister Melissa (Ken) Otwaska, his father-in-law John Pignotti; his grandparents Dee and Bunk Tabbert; and many special aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends he called family.Preceded in death by his grandparents Joseph and Julia Wojtak; brothers-in-law, Vince Slater and John Pignotti Jr. “JJ:; cousins Jamie Tabbert and Cari Murphy; uncles Joe Wojtak and Chuck Matteucci; and many close friends and family throughout the years.Andrew was a devoted father and loving husband; he found great pride in providing for his family. To honor Andrew’s legacy, in lieu of flowers any assistance towards their education and helping Angela navigate any future financial burdens are much appreciated. Memorial visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 10, 2025, at Proko Funeral Home. Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 3:00 p.m. Friday at St. Sebastian Catholic Church, 3126 95th St, Sturtevant, WI.

A life cut too short. We knew Andy as a friend of our son, Kenny, in their school years and later in life as our “pest guy”…he always had time for a short catch-up with us and a few scratches for our pups, too. He will be missed. Our sympathies to his family and friends.

I am deeply saddened by the loss of Andrew. He was such a kind and genuine soul, and his presence always brought comfort and joy to those around him. I will always remember when he used to come into the school and play basketball with our kiddos. His spirit lives on through the love he gave and the memories we will forever cherish. My heartfelt condolences to the family, you (Angela), and the children during this difficult time.
