Richard “Dean” Dean Sanderson, 54, of Kenosha, WI, passed away on Thursday, August 14, 2025, at Froedtert Pleasant Prairie, with his loving family by his side. Born on April 11, 1971, in Evanston, IL, he was the son of Richard Burr and Mary “Shelia” Julia (Dean) Sanderson. He graduated from Hinsdale Central High School. He always stated he “attended Barat College in Lake Forest, IL”. On April 12, 1997, he married Juliet VonDruska in Deerfield, IL.He was employed as a service technician most recently working at Kenosha Nissan. He enjoyed golf, classic cars, and spending time with his family, especially his boys. Dean is survived by his wife, Juliet Sanderson of Kenosha, WI; two sons, Steven and Patrick Sanderson; father, Richard (Lisa Pagel) Sanderson; sister, Lisa (Brad) Matheson; niece, Katelyn Bucich; two nephews, Matthew Bucich and Benjamin Matheson; Uncle John and Aunt Judy Bittner; and cousins, The Bittner, Kittridge-Porter, and Spadafora families. He was preceded in death by his mother, Shelia Sanderson Knackstadt.A memorial visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, at Proko Funeral Home from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Interment will be private. The family requests that you join us to celebrate Dean in the style he would prefer, all Converse welcome. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the family to be used for a memorial for Dean would be welcomed.
