Donna Marie Boyd, 74, of Sturtevant, WI, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, July 27, 2025. Born in IL, on July 26, 1951, she was the daughter of Joseph and Gladys (Zajicek) Drabek. Donna attended local schools. Donna was employed as a bus driver for Dousman Transport Company. She was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church in Kenosha. In her free time, she enjoyed taking care of her dogs, Pixie and Lucy, and her cat, Pumpkin. Donna is survived by her two loving children, Kevin (Krystal) Boyd and Amy Hix; and five grandchildren, Kaylee, Konner, Kinley, Kevin, and Emily. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her brother, Jim Drabek. A visitation will be held on Friday, August 1, 2025, at Messiah Lutheran Church, 2026 22nd Avenue, Kenosha, WI 53140, from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery in Forest Park, IL at 1:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Wisconsin Humane Society would be appreciated by the family.

We are so sorry for your family's loss. Donna was a special woman and a dear friend. She used to sit behind us in church. I will always remember and never forget the day she came up to me and Kelvin to ask us for a recommendation for a dentist. I am kind of nervous when it comes to dentists as I think she might have been too so I encouraged her to go to ours and that he was very good and gentle. She came back and told us that she really liked him. She laughed when she said you forgot to tell me about the massaging chair which she loved . It is going to be hard to look in her spot and not see her there. She will surely be missed by everyone including me and my husband. Anyone who had the chance to meet and Know Donna will truly be Blessed. We hope that knowing others care and share in your loss will somehow comfort everyone. Kelvin And Vicky Nelson
