Alberto P. Rodriguez, 76, of Kenosha, passed away on Sunday, July 20, 2025, at his home in the company of his loving family. Born on April 8, 1949, in San Antonio, TX, he was the son of the late Justo and Dolores P. Rodriguez. Alberto and Patricia have been together since 1980 and got married on February 29, 1989, in San Antonio, TX. He graduated from Gateway Technical College with an associate’s degree and founded La Pesca Milagrosa in 2006, a venture he led until his illness required him to step down. He found peace and solace in reading the Bible and dedicating time to prayer. Above all, he cherished spending time with his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, creating lasting memories with those he loved most. In addition to his wife, Alberto is survived by his six children, Veronica (Rafael) Sanchez, Eugenia Lara, Emma Rodriguez, Rosie (Shane) Brewer, Alberto Rodriguez Jr., Justo (Nicole) Rodriguez and granddaughter Destiny Perez who was like another daughter. 13 grandchildren, Ezequiel, Patricia, Jenica, Christopher, Noel, Severo, Justo, Cristian, Niko, Jaxson, Genio, Leo, and Trinity. 4 great grandchildren, Leyla, Santino, Daniel, and Aubrey, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Alberto was preceded in death by his parents, Dolores P. Rodriguez, Justo Rodriguez, siblings, David Rodriguez, Faustino Ruiz, Victoria Ruiz, Dominga Ruiz Cruz, and grandson Severo Gonzales. A visitation will be held on Friday, July 25, 2025, at Proko Funeral Home from 10:30 a.m. until the time of service at 11:30 a.m. Interment will immediately follow at Sunset Ridge Memorial Park, 4300 Green Bay Road, Kenosha. Donations will be accepted in lieu of flowers.
