Frank J. Smaniotto Jr.,94 years old of Pleasant Prairie, WI passed away Friday, April 11, 2025, at his home with his daughters by his side. He was born November 2, 1930, in Kenosha, WI the son of the late Frank J. and Minnie (Rizzolo) Smaniotto. On November 4, 1950, he married Doris Hoff. He was a loving family man and friend. Frank owned and operated Smaniotto Concrete Construction Company for many years until macular degeneration forced his retirement. He had many interests and adventures in his life. He served as a Marine, stationed in California during the Korean War. As a young couple he and Doris purchased a farmhouse and 87 acres in what is now Pleasant Prairie. Some of that land was developed into subdivisions. He was involved in his church actively for many years. He learned to fly and owned a small plane and took many trips up north with his family. Car trips cross country to California, Florida and places in between were another family adventure. He shared ownership of several thoroughbred horses over the years and traveled to attend races. Survivors include his daughters, Deena (Tom Siwakowski) Smaniotto and Daren Smaniotto; sisters Nancy (Phil) Pettey and Madeline Pasquesi; grandson Travis Siwakowski, granddaughter Jamie (Brandon) Eckardt; great-grandchildren Fischer and Lenni Eckardt, nieces, nephews, and other family. In addition to his parents Frank was preceded in death by his wife Doris on September 5, 2023, and his son Brian and brother Donald. He led a full and blessed life and will be missed but always loved and remembered. A private family service was held in Sunset Ridge Memorial Park.
