Timothy J. Cherny, 42, of Kenosha, WI, passed away on Friday, March 21, 2025, at Froedtert Pleasant Prairie.Tim was born on July 29, 1982, the son of Jeff and Peggy (Maedke) Cherny. He grew up in Kenosha and graduated from Tremper High School. Tim helped with technology in the kids’ ministries at Journey Church. He loved playing on his bowling league, Rollin' Bowlers, watching movies from his extensive collection, collecting turtles, and cheering on the Packers. Tim was always ready to help his neighbors, especially when it came to technology. Tim is survived by his parents, Jeff and Peggy; brother, Pete (Danielle); aunts and uncles, Pat (Steve) Cherny, Penny (Russ) Paulson, Doug Maedke, and David (Beth) Maedke; and many other family and friends. A special thank you to all the caretakers, aides, and neighbors that have taken great care of him throughout these years. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Tim was such a wonderful person I’ve known him for 20 plus years we met in high school in gym swim class he always had a beautiful smile and loved helping people he loved turtles koosh balls tacos on Sunday night and loved playing super Mario on his Nintendo Switch he loved the cubs and Green Bay packers and Wisconsin Badgers most of all enjoyed playing on his Apple iPhone he will deeply be missed from all of us who cared about him and took care of him he also enjoyed helping out with Journey Kids at Journey Church doing the tech
