Nelson “Scott” Wagnon, 59, passed away on Saturday, March 15, 2025, in Chicago, IL. He was born on November 28, 1965, the son of Robert and Joan (Nelson) Wagnon. Scott was a long-time resident of Waukegan, IL and worked for many years at FedEx.Scott is survived by his fiancé, Vangie; children, William and Tracy; mother, Joan Wagnon; siblings, Suzanne (Ray) Roberts, Sherri Yeager, Sabrina Kropff, Cindy (Lynn) Stubbs, and Chuck Wagnon; and many other friends. Along with his father, Robert, Scott is preceded in death by his brother, Glen.A memorial visitation will be held at Proko Funeral Home on Friday, March 21, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service at 4:00 p.m.

Scott was my neighbor and always there for me if I needed something. He snow plowed my driveway several times without me even asking, and was a long time friend to my family for many years. He always had a smile on his face and the past several years seemed to enjoy having a large garden on his property. He will be so missed. I pray he is at peace and with the Lord.
