It is with great sorrow that the family of Dennis Carl announces his passing on February 8, 2025, at the age of 67.Dennis Carl was born in Knoxville, TN on September 6, 1957, to Patricia and James Carl. Dennis Carl is survived by his daughter Jessi Fiscal (Jose), his grandchildren Emiliano and Cristiano, his sister Jennifer Roath (Larry), his brother Raymond Carl, and stepbrother Theodore Jenkins (Lisa). They are predeceased by the love of his life “his heart” Drusilla Donnelly-Carl, his mother Patricia Carl, his sister Mary Jobst (Kurt), and his father James Carl.Throughout their life, Dennis was known for his work ethic. In November 1975, he joined the navy which gave him the inspiration to work in aviation. He started working in aviation in 1979 until February 2025. During his years of working in aviation, he at one point worked for United Airlines at O’Hare in Chicago, IL. This is where he met most of his lifelong friends, and his soulmate, Drusilla Donnelly. They lived together for 30 years. Dennis and Dru had a small, intimate wedding on November 26, 1997. Dennis fiercely loved Dru and Jessi with all his heart, and he proved that everyday up to the day he passed. Dennis had a passion for all types of aircraft. He enjoyed watching war and western movies. Dennis also enjoyed reading about history, especially King Arthur’s era. Dennis will be deeply missed by all who knew them. A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, April 19, 2025, at Proko Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. until the time of memorial service at 11:00 a.m. The service will conclude with Full Military Honors. Interment was held privately at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
