Ida M. Cenni, 98, of Kenosha, WI, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at The Legacy of St. Joe’s. Born on June 21, 1926, in Kenosha, WI, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Mary (Zicarrelli) Covelli. On May 30, 1953, she married Louis Cenni in Winthrop Harbor, IL. They moved to Winthrop Harbor the same year, then to Kenosha in 1993. He preceded her in death on March 30, 2022. Ida was a member of St. Therese Catholic Church, the Catholic Women’s Club, Christian Mothers of St. Therese and the Holy Rosary Mission Club. She enjoyed golfing, swimming, exercising, gardening and being a mother. Ida is survived by three children, Michael (Randell) Cenni of Pleasant Prairie, WI, Jennifer (Michael) Ganues of Winthrop Harbor, IL, and Lance (Sue) Cenni of Kenosha, WI; 11 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by 9 siblings, Rose Turco, George Covelli, Michael Covelli, Frances Limardi, Joseph Covelli, Minnie Loizzo, Louise Loizzo, Theresa Waller and Yolanda DeLuca. A memorial service will be celebrated on Friday, June 27, 2025, at Proko Funeral Home at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be private.
