Darlene A. Becker, 69, of Kenosha, passed away on Tuesday, January 7, 2025.Born in La Crosse, WI on December 1, 1955, she was the daughter of the late Leo and Wilda (Thompson) Becker.Darlene held various jobs throughout her life. She was employed by Nosco Printing Company in Waukegan, IL for many years but the job that gave her the most rewarding career was working as a veterinarian technician at a local animal hospital. In her younger years, Darlene enjoyed playing racquet ball, fishing, planting flowers, and hiking with her cousin Jerry. Darlene was an avid avian lover. She enjoyed the companionship of her birds, dogs, and cats.She is survived by her longtime companion, Harry Lange; nieces and nephews, Stacey (Charles) Veselik, Keith (Nancy) Moilanen, Jerry (Debbie) Becker, Mark (Beth) Becker, Nancy (Dan) Berg, Paul (Kathy) Becker, and Diane (Gregg) Bulman; many great nieces and nephews; and great-great nieces and nephews; and her sister-in-law, Mary Becker and brother-in-law, David Moilanen. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Dwayne Becker and Joyce Moilanen; and great nephew, Tony Marcou.Per Darlene’s wishes, private services were held. She will be laid to rest, next to her parents, at Mormon Coulee Memorial Park in La Crosse, WI. Darlene and I had many classes together at Bradford HS. She was a nice person, worked hard and fun to be around. I am sad to see she has passed. Sympathies to her family.
