Carole Jean Paricka, 77, of Kenosha, WI, passed away on Sunday, December 15, 2024, at Ridgewood Care Center in Racine, WI.Born in Winona, MN, on February 13, 1947, to the late David and Marjorie (Edquist) Drexel.Carole’s family moved from Winona to Racine until they settled in Kenosha in 1962. She went to Mary D. Bradford and then transferred to Tremper High School where she graduated in the Class of 1965. She attended Gateway and received her associate’s in medical assisting.She was united in marriage to John “Buzz” Paricka on September 29, 1973, for a blissful 51 years of marriage.Carole worked for Doctor Ashley and then Doctor Eldridge for many years as a medical assistant. She was an avid reader and loved to tend to her garden.Carole is survived by her husband, Buzz.Along with her parents, Carole was preceded in death by her brother, Richard Edquist. A Celebration of Life will be held at Proko Funeral Home on Thursday, January 2, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service at 6:00 p.m. Interment will be held privately.
