Bruce Richard Johnson, 73 years old of Wheatland, WI passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 10, 2024, at Froedtert Pleasant Prairie Hospital, surrounded by family and friends. He was born July 3, 1951, in Kenosha, WI the son of the late Richard Johnson and Dorla (Wickman) Walker. On February 20, 1971, Bruce married Connie Krahn and they remained Kenosha County residents. Bruce drove truck for many years before his retirement. He enjoyed watching sports on television, hunting and cooking. He especially cherished his family and friends. Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Connie; children, Eric Johnson of Aberdeen, NC and Susan Johnson of Bristol, WI; siblings, Sherry Benkstein, Michael (Rob Coger) Johnson, Vicki Gates, Stan Snell and Steve Snell; and two grandchildren, Samantha (Troy) and Colton. In addition to his parents, Bruce was preceded in death by siblings, Philip Johnson, Keith Johnson, and Jeff Snell. Bruce’s family would like to extend their gratitude to the doctors, nurses and staff in the ICU at Froedtert Pleasant Prairie Hospital for their extraordinary care.
