Dorothy J. Kuta, 95 years old of Kenosha, WI passed away Friday, November 29, 2024, at Brookdale Assisted Living, Kenosha, WI. She was born May 6, 1929, on Little Round Lake, in Sawyer County, WI, the daughter of the late Clyde and Jeannette (Hanchett) Hamblin. Dorothy graduated from Hayward High School in 1947. On October 3, 1953, she married John Kuta and they settled in Kenosha where they raised their family and she worked at local hospitals. John preceded her in death on February 27, 2005. Dorothy was an avid reader and sports fan. She loved cheering on the Green Bay Packers, the Wisconsin Badgers and the Milwaukee Brewers. She also enjoyed playing golf and spending time with her family. Survivors include her children, Joseph (Lila) Kuta, Jackie (Mark) Bangsberg, John Kuta, and Julie (Bob) Wolf; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Dorothy was preceded in death by seven siblings, Dennis Hamblin, Richard Hamblin, Russell Hamblin, William Hamblin, Nello Schlub, Harley Hamblin, and Rachel Hamblin.
