Robert Lee Oatsvall, Jr. “Bob”, left this earth way too soon at 60 years old on Thursday, November 21, 2024, surrounded by his loving family.A lifelong resident of Kenosha, born February 28, 1964, “Bobby” worked at Kenosha Transmission in Kenosha, WI, with his father, Bob Sr. During those years, they restored multiple classic cars to pristine condition, the first being Grandpa Vernon’s. They often took an assortment of them to car shows around the Midwest. Bob shared his father’s passion for muscle cars, and loved to test them for their speed, leaving long burnouts as evidence! He later purchased the business from his dad and continued to provide superior service to the community up until his passing.Bob is survived by his loving wife, Kelly (nee Drier) of 38 years, who never left his side during his battle with cancer; his daughters, Rebecca (Matt) Schueller, Stephanie (Addison) Huck, Jayme (Joe) Clarey, and the light of his life, his granddaughter, Grace Clarey. He is also survived by his mother, Carol Oatsvall; his step-mother, Sandra Oatsvall; his sisters, Lori (Troy) Leonard and Shari (Jim) Mikulecky and their families; his step-siblings, Debbie (Tim) Oatsvall and Greg (Shelley) Peterson and their families; his cousins, Jim (Kelly) Lasco and Stacey (Jeff) Duchrow and their children; all of whom will miss him greatly. He was preceded in death by his father, mentor, and “best friend”, Bob Oatsvall, Sr.; his grandparents, Vernon and Elizabeth Oatsvall; his father-in-law, James Drier; and his mother-in-law, Shardon Drier.Bob touched the lives of so many during his days here, and there is an ache in the hearts of all who knew him.In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations to St. Jude Children’s Hospital for childhood cancer research.Visitation for Bob will be held from 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 24, 2024, at Proko Funeral Home. Bobby was a dear friend of mine, a wonderful husband, father, grandpa, son and a great person. He loved his family with all his heart. I will surely miss the many talks we had about cars and watching Bobby run the shop with pride - that was his baby. Thoughts and prayers to Kelly and the entire Oatsvall family. Jim and Angie Bowman
