Rick Renzulli

Richard “Rick” A. Renzulli, 68, of Wesley Chapel, FL passed away at Aurora Medical Center, Mt. Pleasant on September 26, 2024. Rick was born to Rudolph and Mary (Stierman) Renzulli on September 8, 1956, in Kenosha, WI. He attended local schools and went on to work for Camosy Construction for over 20 years. Rick was a St. Joseph’s high school athlete who excelled in football and wrestling and was a part of the alumni committee. He took second place at state wrestling as a heavyweight. He received a Pollard charcoal portrait for his high school sporting accomplishments. In addition to his athletic accomplishments, Rick achieved his Eagle Scout rank. He married Karen Fonk on March 17, 1979, at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic church. They had a wonderful family and life together until she preceded him in death on December 4, 2002. In his later years, he loved spending time with the family he created with Karen. He even had the opportunity to live with all ten of his grandchildren at various times throughout his life. He always supported them in all their extracurricular and sporting events. Rick is survived by his children, Michelle (Chris) Spainhower, Rachael Leftwhich, and Dan (Carrie) Renzulli; brothers, Ray and Jim; sister, Jean; mother, Mary; and grandchildren, Nicholas, Kevin, Sara, Ava, AJ, Marianna, Samantha, Alyviah, Reid, and Hunter. He is preceded in death by his father, Rudolph and his wife, Karen. Visitation will be held at Proko Funeral Home on Monday, October 7, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 12:00 Noon. So sorry for your loss. I knew him through high school friends and was able to enjoy his sense of humor and laughter last Saturday. He was a fun person to be around, he will be missed!
