Creig S. Flatley, 71, of Kenosha, WI, passed away on Monday, August 26, 2024. Creig was born to the late Richard George and Lorraine Ann (Nelson) Flatley, on May 11, 1953. He dedicated his adult years in life to taking care of his blind mother which he took great pride in. He had a love for music and was a guitarist and played the ukulele in a band. He also taught other people how to play. He worked as a bar manager at the Kenosha Country Club along with many other jobs such as a bartender at House of Gerhards, food and beverage server at the dog track, and even worked at the playboy club in his earlier years. He had a heart of gold and would help anyone that needed it. His patience was unmatched and always helped his brother fix anything and everything. He is survived by his brothers, Richard George Flatley Jr, Pat (Patti) Flatley, and Mike Flatley; twelve nieces and nephews; and many friends and band mates. Along with his parents, Creig is preceded in death by his sisters-in-law, Jolene Covelli and Joyce Flatley, and a nephew Sean Flatley. A special thank you to the nurses and staff at Horizon’s Lawlis Family Hospice for the excellent care. Also, a thank to you his friends Connie and Laura for your love and care. Visitation for Creig will be held at Proko Funeral Home, on Wednesday, September 4, 2024, from 9:30 a.m. until prayers at 11:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at Our Lady of Mount Carmel, 1919 54th Avenue, Kenosha at 12 Noon. My family grew up with all the Flatley’s, we lived exactly 4 blocks east and could see their store from our home. Creig was always smiling, easily recognized him while at the Country Club, still smiling.

Creig was a beautiful person and will always be remembered by those who knew him.He was the Bar Manager at KCC when Debbie and I married and kept everything under control during the reception for our wedding. I will always be thankful for the great service.Beyond that, it was nice to see Creig as he always had a friendly welcome and time to chat.Rest in Peace my Irish friend!
