James A. Warzyn, 82, of Pleasant Prairie, WI passed peacefully at his home, May 16,2024 after a lengthy battle with cancer. He was a beloved partner, husband, father,brother, and loyal friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.Jim was born in Superior, WI, to Alex and Eva Warzyn. Following his graduation fromCentral High School in Superior, WI he joined the United States Air Force and wasstationed in Panama City, FL from 1959-1963. After his honorable discharge, Jimrelocated to Kenosha, WI where he met his future wife, Carol Knauft. They settled inKenosha and Jim began working for Martin Peterson Sheet Metal. Later on, Jim pursueda career in real estate with Coleen Reality. Jim became a successful, well recognized andrespected real estate agent in Kenosha for many years. He was known for his hard work,dedication and commitment to his clients and all who rented from him.Jim was athletic throughout his life. Always a gracious competitor, he played racket ballfor 25 years and was an avid golfer. Jim and Carol loved spending time in Naples, FLwhere they had a home for many years. Jim leaves behind many heartbroken friends inNaples. Jim was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Carol; son, Jeff; his parents, Alex andEva Warzyn; and his siblings Dennis and Roberta Jean.He is survived by his beloved partner, Sarah Rangel; and his daughter, Kim, both ofKenosha, WI. He is further survived by two sisters, Pat of Darien, IL and Kathy ofSuperior, WI; five brothers, Jerry of Cudahy, WI, Rick (Terri) and Dave (Terri), both ofSuperior, WI, Ron (Cris) of Payette, ID, and Tom (Dorene) of Appleton, WI; brother-in-law, Dennis Knauft of St. Louis, MO; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.We offer sincere thanks to the Hospice Alliance staff, Tiffany; and Jim’s caregivers -especially Claudia - for their kindness, dedicated assistance, care; and to Mary and Pinowho lovingly supported Jim throughout his illness.A Celebration of Jim’s life will be held on Tuesday, June 11 2024 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Proko Funeral Home.
