On Tuesday, May 7, 2024, Linda Cepon (Carlson), 75, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family in Kenosha, WI.Linda is survived by her husband of 40 years, Louis; her five children, Julie (Eric) Browy, Patrick (Becky) Cepon, Karen (Philippe) Lesuisse, Jeff Planey and Michael (Diane) Planey; and her beloved grandchildren, Ali, Alex, Grace, Evan and Georgia.She is also survived by one brother, Don (Joan) Carlson.Linda lived an adventurous life. She was not only a jack of all trades, but a master of all. Throughout her life she mastered many different professions from being a farmer’s daughter, working in a bakery, driving a school bus, telephone operating, housekeeping, among others. She was also a dedicated member of St. James. But her most successful role was being a mother and a grandmother.Her tenacity, fearlessness, and dedication to everything she did is something her family and friends will never forget. She was a true role model to everyone who had the pleasure to spend time with her.She brought joy, laughter, and humor to all those around her and she will be dearly missed.A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Monday, May 20, 2024, at 10:30 a.m. at St. James Catholic Church. A visitation will be held on Monday at the church from 8:30 a.m. until the time of Mass.
