Bà nội, Thank you for taking care of me since I was little. You have been with my cousins and I for years that it feels strange that you aren’t here for our other milestones. I haven’t thank you enough for everything you have done not only for your grandchildren but as well as your own children and great-grandchildren. You have always been the bridge that connected us and the reason for our favorite memories. To not see you like before, my heart does quivers while my eyes redden. However, I am glad that you are now with ông nội, Bác Kim, and your family members who are watching over everyone from heaven. You wouldn’t want us to be sad for long. So now when I miss you, it shall be from the sorrow of not seeing you and the joy of knowing you are in a better place. Cảm ơn bà nội nhiều và con thương bà nội nhiều lắm. Sincerely, Sabrina

Dear ba ngoai, We only got the chance to meet you on four occasions: the first time in 1996, the second time in 2000 when you and bac My (Kim) came to visit us in Denmark, the third time in 2002, and lastly in 2011 for Kirsten’s wedding. Despite being far away, we were never in doubt that you loved us. Thank you for raising our mom to be the kindest, most dedicated and loving mother and wife to us and our dad. Our memory of you continues to live on through her. May you rest in peace and rejoice as you enter heaven to reunite with ong ngoai and bac My (Kim). Tui con thuong ba rat nhieu.
