Marilyn (Wade) Svete, 85 of Kenosha, WI passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 29, 2024, at Kenosha Place. She was born December 13, 1938, the daughter of the late Norman and Marjorie (Goodman) Wade and was educated in local schools. On September 24, 1966, she married Louis Svete at St. Mark Catholic Church, Kenosha, WI; together they lived in Kenosha. Marilyn was employed at American Motor Corp/Chrysler for most of her adult working life. She was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church, Kenosha, and former member of the Kenosha Moose Lodge #286, and the Catholic Woman’s Club of Kenosha. Survivors locally include her son, Craig Svete of Pleasant Prairie, WI; one niece, Karin (Roberts) Gonzalez; and two sisters. The family is holding a private service and interment in All Saints Cemetery, Pleasant Prairie, WI. Craig: I would like to extend my deepest sympathy in the loss of your mother. I'm so sorry I never wasn't able to get there to see her. Due to some health issues I have been going through the last several years I was just not up to it.I will always remember your mom for the good relationship we had working at St. George. She was a lot of fun to work with and we shared some very special times.
