Theodore Klass, 83 years old of Kenosha, WI passed away Tuesday, February 13, 2024, at Froedtert Pleasant Prairie Hospital. He was born April 1, 1940, in Racine, WI, the son of the late John and Beatrice (Simon) Klass. Ted proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corp. He was employed by Young Radiator Co. before his retirement. On June 21, 1994, he married Hillary McGovern. Ted was a talented lapidarist. He loved crafting jewelry and polishing gemstones; this hobby took Ted and his wife, Hillary on many motorhome trips around the country, which they cherished. He enjoyed being outdoors and camping, and was a classic car enthusiast. Survivors include his wife of nearly 30 years, Hillary; stepsons, Bryan (Katrina) McGovern and Daniel (Michelle) McGovern, both of Kenosha, WI; step-granddaughters, Ella and Abigail; a brother, Gary (Cathy) Klass; his twin sister, Delores “Gay” Klass; and a sister-in-law, Sue Garner. In addition to his parents, Ted was preceded in death by a brother, John Klass; and brother-in-law, Jim Garner. Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, February 21, 2024, at Proko Funeral Home.
