I was saddened to hear that Phil passed away. I met Phil (that is what we called him at work) many years ago when we both worked at Fort Sheridan. Phil was such a special person, and we quickly became friends. We both enjoyed antiques, so we went antiquing together and afterward we would have lunch at his favorite vegan restaurant in Evanston, IL. Phil taught me to enjoy vegan food. We enjoyed many good times together. I am sorry to say that after I changed jobs, we lost touch. I was surprised to see in his obituary that he had moved to Kenosha. My sympathies go out to all of Phil's friends and family. Lori McBride
