Gail Lois Helfferich, 79 years old of Bristol, WI passed away Sunday, January 28, 2024, at The Addison of Pleasant Prairie, WI. She was born May 26, 1944, in Baltimore, MD, the daughter of the late William and Doris (Klingenstein) Eberling. Upon graduation from nursing school at Union Memorial Hospital, Baltimore, Gail relocated to California, where she worked as a registered nurse in several different capacities; first in the San Francisco Bay area, and later in Sacramento. On January 3, 2003, Gail married Robert Helfferich and they settled in Bristol, WI. Gail was a massive supporter of animal and children’s organizations and causes. She was also an avid cyclist. Survivors include her husband, Bob; stepchildren, Krista Huston and Kris Helfferich; a sister, Sharon Dieter of Hanover, PA; cousins, Sue Iaconangelo, Jeff Iaconangelo, and Joy Iaconangelo; and many other extended relatives. Memorial services will be held at a later date.
