My sweet Mother-in-law, Eileen, is resting in the hands of God. She lived 98 years, raised 5 children, survived hardship, loss, grief & was a true survivor. The changes she witnessed during her lifetime!! Excerpt from poem, I AmStanding Upon The Seashore, by Henry Van Dyke, which may be comforting: "Then, someone at my side says, "There, she is gone.!" "Gone where?" Gone from my sight. That is all. She is Just as large inmast & hull and spar she was when she left my side and she is just as able to bear her load of living freight to her destined port. Her diminished size is in me, not in her. And just at the moment when someone at my side says, "There she is gone! " There areother eyes watching her coming, and other voices ready to take up the glad shout: "Here she comes!" And that is dying. Rest in peace Mom. We will miss everything about you.D.I.L. Rita
