Charles “Chuck” Lange, 77, of Kenosha, passed away on Wednesday, December 6, 2023, at Froedtert Pleasant Prairie Hospital. Born in Kenosha on July 16, 1946, he was the son of the late Rudy and Catherine (Jacobson) Lange. Chuck graduated from Bradford High School and received a Bachelor's Degree from Carthage College. Chuck spent most of his career teaching Physical Education at Lincoln Junior High School where he was also the football coach for many years. Chuck played softball in Kenosha, playing with Tirabassi’s and Stanich Realty. Chuck was honored with his induction into the Kenosha Softball Hall of Fame in 2012. He was an avid fan of the Wisconsin Badgers, Green Bay Packers, and Chicago Cubs. On February 20, 1993, Chuck married Julie Baetz. Julie preceded Chuck in death on July 5, 2022. Chuck is also preceded in death by his parents. Chuck is survived by sons, Bryan Lange and Kevin (Morgan Cahill) Lange; daughter, Christie (Marc) Togie; grandchildren, Bryanna, Karly, Lane, Juniper, Araya, Max and Madison; sister, Lauren Smith; and brother, Tim Lange. A private service was held at All Saints Mausoleum. Contributions in Chuck’s memory can be made to the charity of your choice.
