Cole P. Wade, 7, of Kenosha, WI, was born to heaven Wednesday, October 25, 2023, at Children’s Wisconsin in Milwaukee, WI. He was surrounded by family, love and prayer. He was born August 9, 2016, in Kenosha WI, the son of Nicholas and Sara (Nelson) Wade. In his 7 years of life, Cole found happiness in many places and activities. He was born with a passion for fishing, and spent many hours with a fishing pole in his hand no matter the weather. He loved going to the family cabin where he could fish, catch toads and snakes, ride his 4-wheeler, shoot his BB gun, have campfires, and go on ATV rides. Cole also enjoyed practicing his golf swing, playing baseball, setting up tracks for hot wheels or trains, and playing with his cousins and friends. Cole never met a stranger and could make anyone smile, especially with his pranks and jokes. He loved to laugh, and brought true joy wherever he went. Cole gave the best bear hugs, loved so hard, and ended each day by praying for others. Cole attended Christian Life and Mount Carmel for his preschool years and Whittier Elementary for Kindergarten where he was loved by all. His home church was Kenosha Bible Church where he learned more about the love of Jesus through Sunday mornings, AWANA, and Vacation Bible School. His memory is cherished and honored by his loving parents, Nicholas & Sara; big sister and fierce protector, Laney; grandparents Phillip and Robin Wade, Gregory and Robin Nelson; aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, friends, classmates, teachers, and others from all over the world. Cole joins his Great-grandparents Gerry Wade, Janice Gename, Steven Hultz, Henry and Gladys Nelson, great aunt June Nelson and generations beyond in heaven. I remember the first day I held hands with Cole on his first day of kindergarten. My heart melted and I remember thinking, “I could love this boy!” I don’t know why I had that reaction, but he just sent out that kind of energy. Little Mister was always so thoughtful to others. He was a good friend to his classmates and a good little artist! His presence will definitely be missed and I will ALWAYS remember him. My prayers to your whole family!
