James Elliott Berger was called to eternal rest on September 24, 2023, at home in Kenosha, WI.James was born April 10, 1961, in Fordyce, AR to the late Horace and Deree (Rainey) Berger.James attended and graduated from New Edinburg High School and later attended SouthernArkansas University, Magnolia, AR.James served in the US Army for 8 years. Including serving in Germany and the Gulf War as aPower General Equipment Repairer and Ammunition Handler. Decorations, medals, citationsand campaign ribbons achieved include the Army Achievement Medal, Army Lapel Button,Army Service Ribbon, Good Conduct Medal, Kuwait Liberation Medal, Non-CommissionedOfficer Professional Development Ribbon, National Defense Service Medal, Overseas ServiceRibbon/Southwest Asia, Bronze Service Stars and Driver and Mechanic Badge. After leaving themilitary, he was employed by Georgia-Pacific for many years.He is survived by his son, Marcus (Baisha) Berger of Fordyce, AR, daughters Jamie Johnson ofOrange Park, FL and Gwendin Berger of Clarksville, TN. Five grandsons, Jordan C. Johnson,Raymond E.
