Maurice Brunson, 45 years old of Pleasant Prairie, WI passed away Monday, September 18, 2023, at Froedtert Pleasant Prairie Hospital, Pleasant Prairie, WI. He was born September 28, 1977, in Philadelphia, PA, the son of William Brown and Mamie E. Brunson. Maurice was a movie fanatic; he could repeat lines from movies after just watching them one time! He enjoyed fishing, and was an avid wrestling and football fan, especially the Philadelphia Eagles. Maurice had an impressive memory; he knew bits of knowledge about so many things and could fix just about anything. He will be remembered as a wonderful son, caring father, and dear friend to many. Survivors include his mother, Mamie Brunson of Florissant, MO; daughter, Olivia Ann Brunson of Gurnee, IL; his significant other, Michelle Simon; brothers, Michael (Jennifer) Brunson of Zion, IL, Jonathan Brunson of Kenosha, WI and Erik Moody of Florissant, MO; nieces, Michaela and Isabella. He also left behind to mourn, aunts and uncles; his uncle Anthony Brunson will especially miss their time together; and a host of cousins and friends will miss him dearly. Maurice was preceded in death by his father, William Brown; maternal grandmother, Mamie Pritchett on Christmas Day 2022, an uncle Frank Harris in 2020, and great uncle Roger Brunson in 2021. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
