My name is Mike. I happened to randomly meet Jamie at Kenosha's northside library in July of 2002. As she was going to leave the help desk I quickly took the chance to approach her and tell her that she was cute. She smiled, suggested that we hang out, and we wound up spending a week getting to know each other. She invited me to her house where she, her family and I watched "Blade". I had a cat that traveled in my van with me and her parents repeatedly made sure that he was okay.Though Jamie and I didn't work out, it was very pleasant to know her for that very short time. I stumbled onto her obituary just as randomly as I'd stumbled into her back in 2002. I was so surprised to learn that she'd passed I didn't believe it at first. We didn't know each other long but I'll always remember her. As an animal lover myself I will be happy to donate to a shelter in her memory. Rest in peace Jamie, and may your friends and family be comforted after this loss.
