Maria P. Mann, 72 years old of Kenosha, WI passed away Saturday, March 18, 2023, at her home after a courageous battle with AML. She was born October 21, 1950, in Delavan, WI the daughter of the late Angel and Manuela (Flores) Gonzales. Maria was raised in Kenosha and remained a lifelong resident. She worked for Manutronics Inc, and later Northlake Engineering Inc, for many years before her retirement. Maria was an avid reader and enjoyed trips to the library. She liked drinking Kwik Trip coffee, drawing, and watching movies – especially Sci-Fi and Drama. Maria shared her love of horses with her grandchildren, whom she cherished. She took pride in keeping in touch with her Northlake girls, even after retirement. Survivors include her daughter, Michelle (Jim) Medina; grandchildren, Raina Mann, Olivia Mann, Maquela Medina, and Max Medina; great-grandchildren, Novia and Levi; her sister, Alicia (Dave) Algiers; niece, Andrea (Andrew) Brennan; nephew, Michael (Collette) Algiers; aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family members. In addition to her parents, Maria was preceded in death by her brother, John Gonzalez; daughter, Brenda Mann; grandson, Colin Mann; and great-grandson, Corey. The family would like to extend their gratitude to the Froedtert Pleasant Prairie and Milwaukee Cancer Centers, as well at Hospice Alliance, for their compassionate care. Visitation will be held from 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 22, 2023, at Proko Funeral Home with funeral services commencing at 7:30 p.m. Interment will be private. To Maria's Family,I was so sadden to hvg only talked to her on 3-14-23, telling me that things her Dr. recently, telling me that thereWasn't really anything could nothing else that could be done. I listened to her for the last time that day, surely not believing it would be the last time I heard her voice that sad day!I will miss her kind ways, how much she loved her family, & her beautiful smile a great gal since we were young girls, always mk'd me laugh & others laugh. Thru all those growing up,We meet for lunch, the library a sometimes a visit *I'm sending my Deepest Sympathy to all her family & friends*Rest in Peace my dear friend *We will miss you for many that knew & Loved you!
