Marcelo Cordova, 62 years old of Kenosha, WI passed away on Saturday, March 4, 2023, surrounded by his loving family. He was born December 23, 1960, in Michoacán Mexico, the son of the late Luis and Simona (Trujillo) Cordova. On October 24, 1987, he married Maria Guzman; they enjoyed dancing and going to the movies together. They lived in Illinois for many years before settling in Kenosha in 2013. Marcelo trained and worked as an auto mechanic most of his career. He enjoyed gardening, golfing, working on cars and tending his chickens and dogs. He loved spending his time with his family and traveling with his children and grandchildren. Marcelo was a kindhearted, strong and giving man. He was a fighter and always taught his children to never give up. His family was his pride and joy. Survivors include his loving wife, Maria; children, Shevani Cordova of Kenosha, WI, Luis Marcello (Crystal) Cordova of Des Plaines, IL, Jessica Jasmine (Christopher) Cordova of Round Lake Beach, IL, Joevani (Theophania) Cordova of Kenosha, WI and Jonathan Joshua (Destiney) Cordova of Round Lake Beach, IL; niece and nephews (whom he considered to be his own children), David, Cristian, and Bianca Cordova; grandchildren, Ethan Marcello Cordova, Amelia Ann Escobedo, and another grandson on the way.
