Q: How did you meet Shirley? A: Shirley has been in my life since shortly after birth. Shirley was one of my mom's first friends when my parents moved to Kenosha in September 1960. Even though they kept in touch during their busy family years, they became even closer friends after my dad passed away in 2000. They traveled to many places together, dined at various restaurants, attended festivals, and even went to the Hiawatha on Sunday afternoons for some polka/waltz music. Shirley would visit her while she was in Arizona. She was a great companion. She will always be remembered for her kindness, thoughtfulness and being a extremely special friend to my mother. Here are a few pictures. May you rest in peace, Shirley. Jody Walters Millie Johnson's Daughter
