When we were Kids, she was called Adelinea, by Father. Mom just called her Adeline. We all called her sis or Adeline. We first moved to WI, I would walk her to school, in winter, and summer.Going it was (yes) all uphill to Dover Street school, She would hold my hand, we could not speak English well, but it did not matter, as Sis, got along with everyone, she was cute and a nice person, unless you were on her bad side.I never let her hand go, never, until she married Jim he is a good man.I loved my sister and will miss her, we both had our birthday the same day year apart, Sept. 1st.Her daughter and son, (Lisa & Bob) will now carry that light of kindness for her.Good Bye Sister, I Love you

After my divorce my mom showed up unexpected one day at my door saying "F It, Let's go get Bloody Mary's" and we did. She brought dad along and made him show me how to use a weed wacker, lawn mower and gifted me lady tools in a purple bag. They gave me tools for household chores but more importantly mom gave me tools for life- to be a good mom, strong woman and career professional. Mom was always preparing for others. She cooked lavish feasts and taught us to cook. She was artistic and drew amazing pics, crotchet projects, puzzles and knit hats for others. We shopped, man did we shop and she always looked like a million bucks. I'd open her drawers and she'd have Michael Kors, Laura Mercier powders just great taste. She came to kids' pageants, wrestling matches and celebrated holidays with us. This XMAS we will make tamales in your honor. They will suck I am sure. But if you knew her she made you laugh, she made you welcome, she made you better. I will wear your robe mom and cook for my family and prepare them all too. Love you and I held you at the end, give us a sign you knew we were there. We will watch for you.

I worked with Addie for a while at Northwestern Mutual. Addie, Jimmy and I, along with Barb Hall, would meet for breakfast periodically to catch up. I sure will miss her. She's a good friend and a good person. Prayers to Jimmy and the family. Addie was so proud of you all.
