I was deeply saddened when I heard about my old fishing buddy’s passing. I worked with Charlie for 30 yrs, we got through long work days planning fishing trips with our buddy Tom Jansky. Numerous trips to La Crosse, Madison lakes and anywhere else there were bluegills and cold Blatz. We always had a blast and usually came home with fish and a hundred stories. Im out of town and will not be able to attend the services, but I will be there in my mind to say goodbye to my buddy Charlie. Bobby Saftig L

I remember Chuck as a fun loving guy, and enjoyed playing softball with him for Dons Bar, “back in the day”. A good friend, and man.
