I worked with Sandy way back when at Frank Elementary and later when she transferred to Somers Elementary. I remember her telling stories about Jeff, Lisa, and Jason, and later the grandkids. I just thought of her the other day and wondered if she still had her "Golden Sponge with Silver Band-Aid" trophy presented to her for taking care of all the scrapes and owies the students presented to her. She was such a fun person to be around and I know she will be dearly missed. My deepest condolences to all of her family. -- Chris Payerl
