James W. Jackson, 74, of Kenosha, passed away on Sunday, January 2, 2022, at home. Born in Red Bay, AL, on January 12, 1947, he was the son of the late Velois and Clarice Jackson. On September 28, 1968, he was married to Evelyn C. “Evie” Lupi. They made their first home, “Little Sugar Shack” in Red Bay, then relocated to Kenosha in 1969. She preceded him in death on March 14, 2017. James was employed as an assembler at Chrysler and retired from there. He enjoyed watching TV – especially wrestling, the San Francisco 49ers, the music of Hank Williams, Sr., and fried bologna sandwiches. Survivors include three sons, Earl L. (Peggy), Jerry W. and Scott A. Jackson; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and three siblings, Donnie Jackson, Darriel Jackson, and Sharon Willimon. He was preceded in death by his son, Paul Jackson, and brother, Junior Jackson.
