Teresa P. Castro, of Kenosha, WI, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Saturday, January 1, 2022. Born on July 14, 1927, in Texas, she was the daughter of the late Gregorio Palacios and Angelina Zuarez. She married Rogelio Castro on July 21, 1946, in Laredo, TX. Teresa loved being around her big family. She loved to garden her roses and was a puzzle master. She is survived by her children, Rogelio (Doreen) Jr., Yolanda (Ramon) Barrientes, Sylvia Rodriguez, Rosa Marie (Hector) Flores, Carol (John) Salas, Rosario Salinas, and Gloria (Samuel) Coronado; son in law, Angel Perico; brother, Jose (Belia) Palacios; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her daughters Magdalena Perico, and Dalia Echols; son in laws, David Rodriguez, Javier Salinas, and Earl Echols; her siblings, Alicia (Guillermo) Sanchez, Estella Lopez, Manuela (Antonio) Reyes, Pablo, and Margarita Catches. A memorial visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 11, 2022, at Proko Funeral Home from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at 10:00 a.m. Inurnment to follow at Saint George Cemetery.
